Alzheimer's Care Not Being Addressed in the UK
(Source: SocietyGuardian.co.uk) - A study published by the British National Audit Office (NAO) reported that, despite predictions that dementia cases in Britain will rise to over 750,000 by 2020, too few people are being diagnosed early enough or at all.


An International Alzheimer's Study
(Source: Asahi Shimbun) - At least 25 leading institutions in Japan will participate in an international research project on Alzheimer's disease with the aim of developing early treatment and prevention methods. The effort is part of the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI).
